THE SEP ACADEMY IN JERASH "GAZA" CAMP

The SEP Academy was founded with the support of the Tamari Foundation in 2016, to train hundreds of Artists in the Art of Embroidery, up to the highest international standards. All SEP Artists are required to undergo a technique and quality control training, which brings their skillset back to the level attained in the 1800's - ie no knots, no dangling threads - before they can work on the SEP creations. 

Since inception, we have trained over 800 Artists, many of whom are working with SEP or with other Social Enterprises, which have since been set up in the Jerash Camp.
