Introducing the SDG Canvas Bags by SEP
Posted on February 13 2020
SEP Jordan was founded in 2014 and started operations in 2015: it is a beautiful coincidence that our business model was designed to be not only compliant with all the SDG's, but to directly advance at least 6 of the 17.
What is a Sustainable Development Goal? The SDG's are a "blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all"; they were set in 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly and intended to be achieved by the year 2030.
How long have we got? We have 10 years to achieve them, and time flies so read on to understand what they are in more detail.
What can we all do? Stay informed, ask questions and to make sure that all of your suppliers are or become aware of the SDGs too.
At SEP, we dedicated 6 canvas bags to the 6 SDG's we advance. Wear them, make a statement and tell the story!!

SDG 17: PARTNERSHIPS FOR THE GOALS
Our favourite SDG is number 17, which acknowledges that the only hope we have to achieve the goals, is by establishing focused partnerships between large and small, East and West, for-profit and non-for-profit.
At SEP, we love all our partnerships and we believe that the only way to achieve our mission, is to work with larger luxury brands who wish to have a direct impact on forgotten communities.
