SEP Jordan for the Hope Flowers School, Bethlehem - Geneva, Hotel Beau Rivage
Posted on April 17 2015
Last night the Foundation Palestine Demain, chaired by Mme Marie-Paule Michel, hosted its annual Geneva fundraiser in favour of the Hope Flowers School, Bethlehem: http://www.hopeflowersschool.org/.
The Director of the school updated the audience about the daily social, economic, mental issues faced by the 350 kids in the school and their families.
HE Elias Sanbar, Palestine Ambassador to UNESCO and acclaimed writer Mr Gilbert Sinoue' gave riveting speeches.
SEP Jordan was there: we hand-embroidered a precious Italian cashmere shawl with contemporary colours and a traditional Palestinian pattern. At the end of a rather heated auction, the elegant and generous lady featured below was the proud owner of the stunning shawl, which blends the best of the Made in Italy with the best of Made in Palestine. It is a great source of pride for the SEP producers in Gaza camp to contribute to raising donations to help children in their beloved homeland Palestine. We are happy to share some pictures from the event with you all!
